We will relate our experience of being disciplined, and our beliefs about discipline may affect the way we look at discipline in our work. We will recognize the differences between positive and negative discipline and will discuss challenging behaviors. We will identify components of positive discipline, including the brain, emotions, composure, encouragement, assertiveness, choices, positive intent and empathy, which are parts of Conscious Discipline.
